The Brain Craves Variety

Ever wondered why it’s difficult to hold learners attention or why they seem to become disengaged? Well, it’s probably because the workshop structure is routine, the same, like every other workshop. The brain only notices things when they’re different.

So, to grab your learners attention and keep them engaged, we need to do something the brain isn’t expecting. Something to add novelty, suprise or simply be different eg

• Something new with the training room/virtual training room
• Something other than just presenting
• More challenge rather than spoon feeding
