Let’s Get Started Now
That’s right! Your workshop starts right now
Below are 2 modules:
- an eLearning module where you’ll learn how you can get your content into the long term memory of your learners
- a lesson that will help you identify your need-to-know content vs your nice-to-know-content ie how to prioritise your content
Please complete the following 2 pieces of learning and send to me, before your webinar on Thursday 16 August 2018. Thank you
Module 1 – How To Get Your Content Into The Long Term Memory Of your Learners
We don’t need to be neuro or cognitive scientists, but if we don’t know the practical things we should be adding to our training to ensure our content gets into the long-term memory of our learners, then we are ‘shooting in the dark’ when we design and facilitate training.
So what will stop our content making it to our learners long-term memory and what can we do about it?
Get your content passed the 3 gatekeepers of your learners brain on the way to Long Term Memory.
First. Click here to download a placemat to complete as you try to get content to Long Term Memory. I’d like you to email me the completed placemat so you may want to complete it withing PowerPoint.
Now scroll down and click Accept Challenge

Module 2 – How to Select Need-To-Know Content vs Nice-To-Know Content
Sometimes, as Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) we want to tell our learners everything we know – but do they really need all of that. Wouldn’t it be better to focus on what learners really need NOW to enable them to do the work they currently need to do?
Obviously, YES – but how?
Use the lesson below and discover exactly how to do this and send me a sample of your work so that I can offer feedback. About 2 main tasks will let me see that you are on the right track.
Have fun
